the music included in this album was recorded during three livingroom concerts in december 2008.

timbrally and structurally, the music was loosely based on the ambient soundscapes recorded at club cuba in münster in april 2006. ultimately, too many flaws and glitches made the original recordings of the münster concert unusable, thus i sat down and recreated the music from scratch.

"rhizophora" turned out to be one of the slowest and most contemplative ambient works i have ever recorded.
